Immaculata House
Now Accepting Applications for the 2026-2027 School Year!
Our Mission:
In the charism of communal life with consecrated religious sisters, we will inspire young women to discern and develop their distinctively feminine God-given vocation and individual interests and talents through internalized Catholic virtues.
Our Vision:
To offer a home where holiness is fostered among college-aged women who desire to be shaped and formed in Catholic moral principles & Gospel values so as to become faithful leaders in their communities.
What Makes Us Unique?
Supportive Community
The Immaculata House provides a safe, faith-based environment exclusively for young women pursuing their college education.
Convenient Location:
Situated just minutes from The Oval and Thompson Library, our location offers exceptional accessibility. Residents are close to the St. Thomas More Newman Center, several Catholic parishes, The OSU Medical Center, the Horseshoe, OSU Main campus and many options for dining and entertainment.
A Sense of Home:
Our greatest desire is for the Immaculata House to be more than a residence—we want it to become a true second home for all our residential students, dedicated to fostering study and learning within a supportive Christian spirit.
Grow in Faith:
Residing at the Immaculata House offers a unique opportunity to live your Catholic faith to the fullest and learn how to seamlessly combine your spiritual life with your academic life (Jn. 10:10).
A Sacred Space:
Our greatest treasure is our private chapel with the Blessed Sacrament, accessible to all residents 24 hours a day! We invite and encourage our residents to grow in and deepen their spiritual life through frequent prayer. Our residents are like a family and so they are most welcome to join us for our monthly in-house Holy Mass, daily Holy Hour with Exposition in our chapel, daily Holy Rosary, and daily common prayers. In addition to regular prayers we offer Bible Studies, Book studies and Retreats during Advent and Lent.
“A heart entrusted to the Immaculata shines brightly.” Bl. Edmund Bojanowski
